Robert B. Levy is Professor of Microbiology and Immunology, Ophthalmology and Medicine and a member of the Sylvester CCC at the University of Miami Miller SOM. He received his undergraduate degree from Muhlenberg College and MSc/PhD degrees from The Ohio State University. His overall research objective is developing approaches to facilitate the success of hematopoietic stem/bone marrow cell transplants by inhibiting GVHD while promoting GVT responses. Dr. Levy has served on numerous review panels, authored >135 original papers/book chapters, is an associate editor of Biology of Blood and Marrow Transplantation and SAB member and consultant for Heat Biologics and Pelican therapeutics.
